#339 How to Use Very Specific Colors in PowerPoint

Last week we saw how you can find the exact color or anything displayed on your screen. Now we’ll see how you can tell PowerPoint to use that exact color.

Let’s say that you want to use the exact shade of green we discovered from that really cool photo from last week.  We learned that the exact RGB values are:

RED=164
GREEN=201
BLUE=63

How to Apply RGB Colors in PowerPoint

  1. In PowerPoint select the object(s) that you want to apply this color to
  2. Click the drop-down arrow from the text or shape color button (this works exactly the same way for both)
  3. Then select More colors…MoreColors
  4. Click the Custom tab
  5. And enter the RGB values you want to use.RGBvalues

Voila! Now you know how to use any of the millions of colors available to you in PowerPoint.
